When preparing a seismic engineering project for a new building, a project manager for the Department of Project Management (DPM) starts the peer review as early as possible and acts as peer reviewer. The peer review must start before the schematic design phase. Before this, hold a meeting to arrange oversight of the peer review process. A Seismic Advisory Committee (SAC) representative may attend the meeting to aid the process.
