EH&S operates a meteorological station near the Oak Road facility. Current conditions and historical data are available at http://weather.stanford.edu.
The Station is equipped with sensors to collect the following data:
- Temperature at two heights, one and ten meters
- Humidity
- Rainfall
- Wind speed and direction
- Solar radiation
- Evapotranspiration
Hourly observations and weekly summaries, including maximum and minimum values for all data points, are readily available. Local climatology as provided by federal, state, and local agencies information is available. By linking to other sites, real time satellite and radar imagery are also displayed.
