Owners
Department Operations Centers (DOCs) are a critical element in the University’s emergency response and recovery. DOCs are planned, set up, and activated by academic and operations units of the University. Each DOC is responsible for:
- Preparing a DOC plan
- Describing procedures to provide emergency impact reports to the campus Emergency Operations Center (EOC)
- Coordinating emergency information and resources among its constituents
DOC coordinators may request a consultation with the Office of Emergency Management (OEM) to review existing DOC plans, create new plans, or learn about the University’s emergency management organization. Please submit requests through the local DOC coordinator for the school or operations unit.
