How to Use

Supervisors are responsible for evaluating the performance of forklift operators to ensure they comply with safety rules, including daily pre-use forklift inspections. Operators must conduct these inspections every day before using any forklift.

At the start of each work shift, forklift operators must use the Forklift Pre-Shift Inspection Form to inspect forklifts. If the forklift operator finds any malfunctions or defects during the inspection, the operator must notify his or her supervisor, noting that the vehicle is not safe to use. In this case, the forklift should not be used until safe.
