Symptoms

As described by the CDC, people with COVID-19 can exhibit a wide range of symptoms that can vary widely in severity. Symptoms can include fever, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, and diarrhea.

Symptoms commonly appear within 2-5 days after exposure to the virus. In general, symptoms tend to be less severe in those who have recently been ‘boosted.’
