Electric, Magnetic, and Electromagnetic Field Survey

The purpose of an electric, magnetic, and electromagnetic field (EMF) survey is to assess exposures to time-varying electromagnetic fields, static electric fields, and static magnetic fields, such as those produced by MRIs or broadcast antennas.

Health Physics can take measurements and provide advice on EMF safety. For research use, please contact our office at (650) 723-3201. For clinical use of MRIs or other EMF sources, please contact the Stanford Hospital and Clinics Environmental Health and Safety office at (650) 353-1751.
