To satisfy state requirements for refresher training in radiation safety, a member of Health Physics may contact you to schedule a radiation hazards evaluation. The evaluation consists of a review of your radioisotope journal, an interview to see if changes are needed, and a walkthrough of your radioactive work areas.
Afterwards, the evaluation will be sent to you. You will need to hold a meeting with your lab personnel to review the evaluation, as well as any radiation safety topics you deem appropriate. Have all personnel listed on the authorization sign where indicated, then return the signed pages.
