Owners
All users of X-ray diffraction (XRD) devices must:
- Read a safety manual
- Complete a safety exam specific to the use of XRDs
- Watch a safety video
After passing the exam and watching the video, you will be issued a certificate. You must then make an appointment for XRD hands-on training with the X-ray lab manager, who will issue you dosimetry to measure any radiation exposure above background levels.
